ASSISTANCE FOR THE INSTITUTION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE EDUCATION

Cooperation of Palilula Municipality with educational institutions of Palilula territory has become good practice and is focused on creating better working conditions and improving quality of youth education. The Institute for Youth Education in Nis, located in the "Božidarčeva bb" for half a century has been helping juveniles who have committed offenses. About 2,000 children have passed through this institution and finish school and learn a decent life and become useful members of the community. In order to support educational activities of this collective, Palilula Municipality provided a desk and chairs in the area of ​​the Institute. On this occasion, the President of Palilula Milan Djurdjevic visited the students of the Institute for Youth Education with Milos Otasevic, director of the Institute to discuss current issues of this particular educational institution.

We cooperate with all the institutions in our municipality, said Milan Djurdjevic, president of Municipal Assembly of Palilula. In conversation with the director of the Institute for Youth Education, we decided to donate furniture for the educational activities of the students. In this outpost, located in the Department, students can now follow the lessons as they are in school. This furniture is not of great value in money but it certainly is a great support for the successful operation of the Institute of residents and institutions. If we all help, I think these children will be able to freely learn and build on their way to the "better of society." As you may know us by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, seized of the premises and give the Police Department to use - said Milos Otašević, director of the Institute. Our dear friends from Palilula Municipality when learned that we have found solution to the forward teaching high school classes are organized in the living room of the Institute and that we need furniture, brought a nice table and ten chairs and promised that we will always help to raise education at higher level. According to student Nemanja Radojičić second year Mechanical Engineering School student, the furniture was necessary to learn the subjects of and ecology. We do not have to go to Machine school -says Nemanja. Here we have all the furniture and books. We can learn, write, socialize ... Master Hristivoje Petrovic teaches eight classes these children who have special needs. Any result with our students is measured by a high grade - said Professor Pejčić. And this donation is important because it enriches the space and thus attracts the children to spend more time with learning. Everything is done in terms of education in the Department in accordance with the Mechanical Engineering School's curriculum.

From a year ago, as part of this institution, the shelter for minors without parental care, and living care for children with behavioral disorders have been also active.
